Physics Foundations Society is a non-profit organization registered in Finland. Physics Foundations Society aims for a deepened understanding of the principles and functions of nature and their relation to the profound philosophical concepts like time, space, and matter.
Physics Foundations Society encourages open-minded, scientifically sound approaches for new perspectives in physics and works for constructive interaction and linkage between individuals, groups, and organizations with the same objectives.
Physics Foundations Society has been founded by four Finnish scientists – Dr. Tuomo Suntola, Prof. Ari Lehto, Dr. Tarja Kallio-Tamminen, and Dr. Heikki Sipilä, – covering a wide range of innovative academic and industrial experience from the philosophy of science to nuclear physics, materials sciences, and space craft instrumentation.
Founding of the society links together decades of efforts by the founders in probing the fundamentals of physics. Encouraged by the new perspectives opened, Physics Foundations Society sees the foundation laid to a profound synthesis which will restore a well-defined and comprehensive representation of reality.

Tuomo Suntola, PhD in Electron Physics (1971), is the founder of the Dynamic Universe theory based on an overall zero-energy balance in space. ”In a physical theory the demands of human conception should not be compromised by the natural demands of ultimate preciseness and mathematical clarity. It seems that nature is built on few fundamental principles; it is our task to find those principles. The zero-energy approach in the Dynamic Universe opens knots built into prevailing theory structures and offers a platform to a unified description of reality.” Dr. Suntola has far-reaching academic and industrial career comprising pioneering work from fundamental theoretical findings to successful industrial applications. |

Ari Lehto, PhD in Physics (1978), discovered a Period Doubling Mechanism governing the buildup of energy structures from elementary particles to large scale systems at cosmological dimensions. “The mechanism that indicates a high degree of order in nature is not a part of prevailing theories but it could give a major contribution to our understanding of the physical reality and the origin of the invariant properties and structures of matter.” Professor emeritus Ari Lehto has generative industrial and academic careers. He is the inventor of novel micro devices and their manufacturing technologies. |

Tarja Kallio-Tamminen, PhD in Theoretical Philosophy (2004), M.Sc. in High Energy Physics (1983) has explored the criteria and structures of scientific theories and the cultural implications of natural sciences. “I am attracted by the clarity and coverage of the Dynamic Universe theory and the increased order and unity it, together with the Period Doubling Mechanism brings to our picture of reality. Ultimately the theories call for a balanced harmony between the material and mental aspects of life.” |

Heikki Sipilä, PhD in Technical Physics (1978), beside his industrial initiatives and exacting developments of scientific instruments Dr. Sipilä has thoroughly examined the basis of physical theories and the message of Mach’s principle to the linkage between local and global. “Empirical verification of theories is incorruptible; nature is not built on epicycles or correction parameters.” |
